CIMMERIAN BOSPOROS. Pantikapaion. Circa 310-304/3 BC. AE (Bronze, 20 mm, 7.77 g, 12 h). Head of a satyr to left, wearing wreath of ivy and fruit; on the back of the head, countermark: star within round incuse. Rev. Π-A-N Head of a lion to left; below, sturgeon to left; countermark: bow in bowcase. MacDonald 70 and 114. SNG BM Black Sea 886-889. Perfectly centered and with a lovely even patina. Very fine.
